This End User License Agreement is between you and Ridvan Kizil (Türkiye), who publishes the Rawha application under the name Rawha ("Rawha"). By installing or using the Rawha application (the "Software") you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

App Store note: On Apple platforms, this EULA supplements the Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement. Where this EULA is silent, the Apple Standard EULA governs.

1. Licence#

Rawha grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial religious use, subject to this Agreement and the Rawha Terms of Service.

2. Restrictions#

You may not, and may not permit anyone else to:

  1. Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Software;
  2. Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code, except where applicable law expressly permits;
  3. Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise commercially exploit the Software;
  4. Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices;
  5. Use the Software to build a competing product;
  6. Use the Software in violation of applicable law or the Terms of Service;
  7. Use the Software's AI features to extract or reproduce Anthropic's underlying model.

3. Ownership#

The Software is licensed, not sold. Rawha (and its licensors) retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights. No rights are granted other than those expressly stated.

4. Updates#

We may, but are not obligated to, provide updates, bug fixes, or new features. Updates are governed by this Agreement unless they include a new EULA.

5. Third-Party Components#

The Software includes third-party open-source components subject to their own licences, listed on the Open-Source Licenses page. Those licences continue to apply to those components.

6. Religious Content#

Quranic verses, hadith, du'a, and adhkar are sacred religious text. While the Software is licensed under this Agreement, the underlying text itself is not "owned" by us — it is the patrimony of all Muslims. You may quote it freely for personal religious use.

Every Quran translation bundled in the Software is in the public domain (Tafsir al-Jalalayn, Pickthall, García Bravo, Kazimirski, Calza, Keyzer, Buczacki, Sablukov, Zetterstéen, and Junagarhi); no copyrighted translation is included. The Arabic Uthmani text is the Tanzil Project edition (CC BY 3.0). The adhan recordings are downloaded from Wikimedia Commons under CC0 and CC BY-SA 3.0 respectively. Quran recitation audio is not included in this version of the Software; if a later version adds it, the recordings will be used only under a licence from the reciter or an open licence, and the Licenses page will credit them.

7. Termination#

This licence terminates automatically if you breach this Agreement. Upon termination you must uninstall the Software. Sections 2, 3, 5, 8, 9, and 10 survive termination.

8. Disclaimer#

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. SEE THE Rawha TERMS OF SERVICE §14 FOR THE FULL DISCLAIMER.

9. Limitation of Liability#

SEE THE Rawha TERMS OF SERVICE §15 FOR THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY THAT APPLIES TO THE SOFTWARE.

10. Export Compliance#

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. The Software contains no proprietary encryption beyond what is exempt under U.S. EAR §740.17 and Apple's ITSAppUsesNonExemptEncryption=false declaration.

11. Governing Law#

See the Rawha Terms of Service §19.
